Occupying land within the family farm, this home is clad all over with Siberian larch.

The client was looking for a design that had typical and quite generous ‘farmhouse’ proportions, but with a modern twist. The anthracite aluminium frames complement the natural appearance of timber whilst allowing vast amounts of natural light to enter the home thanks to the corner windows.

Light floods into the entrance hall from the carefully roof lights vaulted roof above. The ‘letterbox window’ at landing level perfectly frames mature trees.
